For more than twenty years, I've shot stories for clients and broadcasters around the world, including the BBC, CBC, and ESPN. My work has taken me from caribou hunts deep in the Northwest Territories to street art in New York City to an oil platform off the coast of Western Australia — wherever the story lives, that's where I want the camera.

I built my career in documentary and commercial work and have been working non-stop since I started in this industry. But my first love is film and light itself, and I aim to bringing my eye and experience leading crews to scripted film and television, including too-many-shorts-to-count, the feature True Fiction (2019) and the series Secret History of the Wild West (2022-present), for which I’ve been the sole DoP for all seasons.

I'm known for my lighting, for running calm and capable crews, and for the kind of long-term partnerships that bring clients back decade after decade.

My work has earned multiple award nominations, including a win for Best Cinematographer — Drama Over 30 Minutes at the Alberta Media Production Industry Awards (AMPIA) and the Standardbred Industry North American Broadcast Award.
